Get Flash Player to see this player. The Triple Stroke Roll gets its name from the fact that you're alternating sticks and playing 3 stokes per hand change.. Given that we play lots of triple strokes on the drums (and not always in triplets) it's definitely worthwhile working the triple stroke up to speed.
