SIMPLE SAMBAS.

There are really 3 things going on in this pattern:

1) The RH is playing continuous 8th notes on the ride cymbal
2) The LH is playing a continuous rhythm between the snare rimtap and the first tom
3) The feet are playing a samba ostinato pattern

RIGHT HAND.

Lets look at the RH first, as it's the most basic part. You're literally just playing continuous 8ths as follows..

LEFT HAND.

The LH plays a rimtap on beat 2, and 8th notes on the first tom on beat 4 and 4+, as follows..

FEET.

The samba ostinato pattern is this..

When you put them all together you get this..
