RIGHT HAND.

The RH just plays the basic jazz ride pattern, the only thing to note is the on beats 2 and 4, the RH plays on the LH side of the drum for those notes only. All other notes played on the RH side of the drum..

LEFT HAND.

The left hand is the hand that stirs in this stroke. For the duration of beats 1 and 3, the LH stirs up the LH side of the snare drum. For beats 2 and 4, the LH pushes through the centre of the drum back to the bottom where it starts again.
