RIGHT HAND

The RH plays a basic Afro Cuban pattern..

The LH plays the following pattern alternating between the rimtap on snare and the first tom. The second time through this pattern you can play it on the floor tom.

At this point get used to playing quarter notes on the hihats also..

And finally, the pattern all together is this..
