Get Flash Player to see this player. The Six Stroke Roll is a continuous rudiment using doubles and singles, that can be played leading with either the RH or the LH. As with all sticking patterns that use single stroke accents and double stroke non accents, a nice fill idea with the 6 Stroke Roll is to put the single stroke accents on either the toms or the cymbals, and keep the double strokes on the snare drum.
