In these 16th rock beats, all the 16th notes except beats 2 and 4, are played on the hihats. You start and lead with the RH, and the RH comes over to the snare to play beats 2 and 4..

BEAT 2.

In the next beat, the only thing that will change is the bass drum pattern, this time round we're using 8th notes on beat 3 and beat 3+..
