GROOVY TRIPLET STICKINGS
This video lesson shows you an interesting way of playing triplet stickings, that serve as great musical phrases around the drumkit. The idea is that you play all the main phrase notes with your RH, and fill in all the remaining triplets at a much softer volume with your LH. After you have mastered this on the pad or snare drum, try taking it to the kit and splitting the RH onto the ride cymbal and the LH on snare, or move the RH around the toms also.
