In this lesson we will look at the Octopus Fill. This fill gets its
name from the fact that you are constantly having to cross stick to
execute the fill. Usually you plan your sticking patterns around the
drumkit in a way that means you DON'T have to cross stick. But in
some instances there is no choice, so it is a very useful skill to
develop, and the Octopus is a good way to put a toe in the water
with cross sticking.
