In this lesson we will look at Sambas that are played entirely on the snare drum. You can use the many snare drum sounds to create interesting sounding grooves, with just a little creativity. Try the following patterns, in each, the accents are played with the RH, and all the X's are played using soft LH rimtaps to fillin around the accents.
