Icanplaydrums.com was formed by pro Australian drummer Jack Bennett,
and has helped
1000's of students right across the globe! As a continual student of the drums and a
dedicated teacher, Jack realized the flaws in one on one teaching, the biggest
one being - if a student can't read music, there's no point giving them a
pile of music to read!
This led Jack to creating the
software breakthrough, Ezybeats - multimedia videos of Jack

Jack Bennett
was born in Melbourne in 1980
and began his professional music career at age 9, singing in numerous productions
with the Australian and Victorian State Opera's whilst learning piano. Jack then attended a specialist
music school in Melbourne and began his obsession with all things drums! In
his final years at school, Jack aced his music exams and scored one of the
highest Drumkit CAT Exams on record, as well as winning every State and National
award on offer in Australia with the Blackburn High Stage Band.
In first year college Jack won
the open division of the prestigious, "Australia's Best Up and Coming Drummer
Competition" at age 18, whilst studying with Australia's most respected drummers.
This led him to touring the world for the next 4 years. Jack has toured with
the national smash hit tours of shows, "Grease!" "Shout!",
"Hedwig And The Angry Inch" and "Moonshadows - The Cat Stevens Show". He plays regularly
with The Australian Showband, numerous rock and jazz groups, and has played
in over 20 countries in Europe and China. He has been a featured artist twice
in national drum magazine, Drumscene, and his
products have been given 5 star reviews in Rhythm UK magazine.
Jack holds international endorsements
with Sleishman Drums, Sabian Cymbals and Vater Drumsticks and is a regular clinician for Sleishman.
He has produced the widely popular, "Ultimate Drumming Solution!",
"Funk & Illusion Drumming", "100 Years Of Drumming", "Rudiments Around
The Kit" & "The Drumming Body" DVD sets, as well as the interactive
"Drum Quiz Show" CDROM software.
In 2009 Sleishman released the
"Jack Bennett Signature Snare Drum" worldwide to critical acclaim.
